Description

At Audinc you can turn to us not only for hearing protection, but also for custom sleeves. These are attachments that we tailor to both the user's ear canal and their set of speakers. The sleeves are made to measure and can then be connected to your own earbuds. This lets us offer custom-fit earpieces that attach to your speakers, combining the quality of premium earbuds with the fit of custom-made hearing protection. The best of both worlds. Please note: a set of sleeves may protrude slightly from the ears. Don't see your custom sleeve in-ear listed? Feel free to get in touch, no strings attached, so we can look into adding it.

Custom Sleeves

What are custom-made sleeves for in-ear monitors? +

Custom-made sleeves are specially designed attachments that match the exact shape of your ears and in-ear monitors. They are carefully tailored to both the anatomy of your ear canal and the specifications of your speakers, giving them an ideal fit and optimising sound quality. These sleeves combine the premium sound of high-end earbuds with the comfort of custom-made hearing protection.

Why should I choose custom-made sleeves? +

There are several reasons why custom-made sleeves are an excellent choice: Perfect fit: They sit snugly against the shape of your ears, ensuring optimal comfort and improved sound isolation compared to standard sleeves. Improved sound quality: Because the sleeves seal well, ambient noise is effectively kept out, delivering clearer, purer sound. Luxury and comfort in one: The sleeves offer the sound quality of premium earbuds combined with the comfortable fit of custom-made hearing protection.

Do the custom-made sleeves stick out of my ears? +

Yes, it's possible that the custom-made sleeves protrude a little from your ears, depending on the design of your in-ear monitors and the fit of the sleeves. This has no effect on wearing comfort or sound quality, however.

Can I also use the sleeves for other purposes, such as hearing protection? +

Yes, the custom-made sleeves can also serve as hearing protection, as long as the in-ear monitors are inserted. They seal the ear canal well, which both improves sound quality and offers protection against harmful noise in loud environments. Do note: if the in-ear monitors are removed from the sleeves, an opening remains in the sleeves, so they no longer provide full sound isolation. In that case the sleeves still offer some protection, but not to the same extent as when the in-ear monitors are inserted.

What if my in-ear monitors aren't on the list? +

If your in-ear monitors aren't on our list, feel free to contact us. We'll gladly look into whether we can add your specific model and produce custom-made sleeves for your in-ear monitors. We can often find a solution for less common models too.

How does the process work when we scan your in-ear monitors? +

Scanning your in-ear monitors is done using an advanced 3D scanner. A projector projects light patterns onto your in-ear monitors, and the distortions of these patterns are captured by the scanner's cameras. The resulting data is used to obtain detailed geometric information. The entire process is completely contactless, allowing us to take precise measurements without any direct contact with the monitors. This ensures a perfect fit for your custom-made sleeves!

"A year ago I bought custom sleeves for my Shure SE 215. The fitting itself (at Sloterdijk) went smoothly, and the advice was very pleasant. In my hands within the agreed delivery time, very good. After about a year of use I am still very satisfied. They still fit like a glove, don't leak and go in and out easily. The only small point of attention is that the sleeves sit relatively loose on the Shure monitor itself. Because of that the sleeves can sometimes fall off the monitors. I would definitely recommend this product."
