Custom water-sports earplugs for the ultimate swim experience. We make our Dry Ears swimming earplugs to fit your ears exactly: soft, buoyant and waterproof material with a special filter that reduces sound by 5 dB. They're extremely comfortable to wear and keep water out of your ear canal.
The best earplugs for swimming
Disposable earplugs often don't fit properly. Custom swimming earplugs guarantee a perfect fit and save you money in the long run. They're also great for other water sports such as (kite)surfing, diving and sailing, protecting you from water, wind and cold.
Note: swim cap
Do you like to wear a swim cap while swimming? Please bring it along to your appointment so we can tailor your earplugs to fit with it.
Loss protection
You can take out loss protection at your fitting for € 13. You are then insured against loss for one year from the fitting date. If you lose your earplugs, you pay € 25 excess for a replacement set. The scheme can be used once per set, or twice for half a set. The full terms are in our service policy.

Are the Dry Ears earplugs suitable for water sports? + −
Yes, the Dry Ears earplugs are perfect for swimming, but also for other water sports such as surfing, diving and sailing. They protect against water, cold and wind, so you can enjoy your favourite water sports all year round without worry and without any risk of hearing damage or ear infections.
Can I use the earplugs for other purposes too, such as sleeping? + −
Although the Dry Ears earplugs are specially designed for swimming, they're also very well suited to other situations where your ears need protection from water or cold. Think of sleeping, travelling or other activities in a damp environment.
What is the difference between earplugs with and without a filter? + −
Earplugs with a filter reduce ambient noise by around 5 dB, while earplugs without a filter offer no sound reduction but purely protect against water. The choice depends on your preference for sound attenuation during use.
What is the difference between floating and non-floating earplugs? + −
Floating earplugs are made of lightweight material and stay on the water's surface — ideal for water sports, because if you lose them you can easily find them again. Non-floating earplugs are heavier and sink; they often provide a tighter fit and better insulation, but they're less suitable if you're worried about losing them in the water.
