Custom water-sports earplugs for the ultimate swim experience. We make our Dry Ears swimming earplugs to fit your ears exactly: soft, buoyant and waterproof material with a special filter that reduces sound by 5 dB. They're extremely comfortable to wear and keep water out of your ear canal.

Disposable earplugs often don't fit properly. Custom swimming earplugs guarantee a perfect fit and save you money in the long run. They're also great for other water sports such as (kite)surfing, snorkelling and sailing, protecting you from water, wind and cold.

Snorkelling at the surface is fine with the Dry Ears in. Scuba diving is not. There is a sealed pocket of air between the earplug and your eardrum, and you cannot equalise that pressure with earplugs in. As you descend the water pressure rises while the pressure in that pocket does not, and the difference pulls on your eardrum — which causes real ear pain and, at worst, damage to your ear. Going under or diving for a coin in shallow water is no problem, but do not go deeper than about a metre and do not jump in from a height. Do you like to wear a swim cap while swimming? Please bring it along to your appointment so we can tailor your earplugs to fit with it.

You can take out loss protection at your fitting for € 13. You are then insured against loss for one year from the fitting date. If you lose your earplugs, you pay € 25 excess for a replacement set.
