The filter provides a constant noise reduction of approximately 17dB, increasing to a maximum of 33dB when activated by sudden loud noises. The small size of the Impulse filters makes them unobtrusive and comfortable to wear, and they fit easily under communicating headsets or ear muffs where dual protection is needed.
Developed for military use, the Impulse filter protects hearing from gunfire, artillery noise and impulsive sounds from nail guns, drop hammers and rivets. As a hobby handyman, I often have to deal with loud noises from machines. I used to protect my ears with ear muffs, but I would get discomfort from the muffs. The earplugs are small andblock out noises.
Since December we have been customers of Audinc, and so far with us we can only say, super! The fitting is done with great care and patience. When we receive the otoplasicswe buy from Audinc, everyone gets a very good explanation on how to put them in and how to maintain them. So far, all employees are very satisfied with the product itself, nice fit and you can follow conversations well while other loud noises are muffled.

If you have them in regularly, however, dirt can get on them. For example, you can use the ultrasonic cleaner, although not everyone has the gear for that. Fortunately, there are other alternatives that work almost as well. For example, you can choose to clean the earplugs with warm water and some soap. Then dry them with paper towels. Also, you may always stop by our store for some new cleaning wipes, which we will give you for free.
