We are sometimes asked if people need to have their ears cleaned out before we can take measurements.
This is not necessary. A little earwax is normal and does not otherwise adversely affect the earplugs.
However, sometimes there is so much earwax in the ear that a so-called plug forms. In this case, a measurement cannot be taken. Also, we are not able to inject the ears. So should we find out during an appointment that there is a plug, we will refer you to your doctor.
